Opinion: This is an OUTRAGE (see inside)

There are few things in this world that can pull me into politics, but today I am through with the impartiality. I am done with this complacent, laid-back attitude. I want everyone out there to know that what happened today was an outrage. That’s right, and until all of those involved get their act together, it will continue being an enormous slap to the face of everything we stand for.

Until everyone can agree to sit down and dissect what happened here, I will not remain silent. We need a panel. We need a swift, direct response. We need email blasts. We need articles on every major news website. If this goes silent, it will never gain steam again, and that would be the end of everything we know and love. This is dead serious, and as much as we’d all like to believe it’s just a bad dream, it’s not. Nothing is going to change unless we step up now. Just look at what happened last time. There was so much room for an outcry and instead we just let it fade into oblivion. This is a matter of setting a precedent, and up to this point the precedent we’ve set is that we don’t care.

Guess what, we do care, and we need to show it. Now is the time to band together. Now is the time to make a stand. Now is the time for action. If you disagree with what happened, you need to show it. We can do this.

For TOO LONG we just sat back and let this issue build up. Everyone saw it coming, everyone saw the signs just before it boiled over. We could have protested, we could have written letters, but no. I bet you’re all sorry now, or at least you should be. Nobody on the inside pushed for change, and look where that got us. It got us here, and we’re left on the outside. Well, it’s time to start up the letter writing campaigns. Call your congressman, I guess, because we all might as well be pissing into the wind if this is how things are run now.

This is beyond unacceptable. Look around. Are you doing everything you can, at this very moment, to make up for the mistake? I’m trying to raise awareness. I’ve been pushing stories out on local news and social media for eight straight hours now without eating, drinking, or using the bathroom. You know why? Because I am dedicated. I am dedicated to this cause and I won’t let any lazy, shit-stirring vultures beat us to the punch. If you aren’t in line with the program, you are working directly against it. What are you still doing reading this? Get out there and complain!
